Growing up surrounded by the art of shoemaking, brothers Süleyman Yağcı and Ali Yağcı inherited both their father’s skills and his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2010, they took the bold step of expanding the family business beyond Turkey’s borders. Driven by a commitment to quality and innovation, they introduced Calvano to international markets, starting with exports to Europe, the UK, Australia, and Russia.

In 2014, the brothers officially founded Calvano as a brand in South Africa, blending decades of family shoemaking tradition with modern styles tailored for global tastes.
